Testimonials

Deer Creek School had the good fortune of having Andjru present "The Elements of Music and Dance" to our TK-3rd grade group of students in an assembly. This performance was entertaining, informative, and funny. The students learned a lot about movement, the history of music, and the importance of moving their bodies. Students were engaged and attentive throughout Andjru's many effective presentation techniques. I highly recommend this assembly.

Hi Andjru,
I just wanted to thank you for the classes, I love coming for myself if not for Myko - I like the way you hold the space and are so present with each kid. And I like your stories about songs and instruments - I was actually surprised how even the very little ones listen to you with such fascination:)
happy rain!

Thank you so much for all that you and your group(The Breathe Deeplies) did to make our biology division holiday party a success yesterday!  Everyone  attending was entranced and excited by your music.  You did such a professional job - I felt like I did not need to worry about anything.  Working with all of you was so pleasant.  The comments from those attending have been just wonderful!  We accomplished our goals — to bring unique music and experience to everyone, to involve families, to set an atmosphere both stimulating and calming.
The event was a hit!

Andrew Werderitsch came to perform for our Cub Scout Pack at a Scouting Down Under meeting.  Andrew's performance was appealing and dynamic and had 50 boys (ages 6-12) completely engaged for his whole performance.  Andrew introduced the boys to the Aboriginal culture of Australia.  He made the connection between ancient cultures, the environment and the earth, which resonated not only with the kids but the adults there as well.  His style was lively and interactive; weaving storytelling, music and movement together.  Andrew brought along several beautiful yidaki (didgeridoos) for the boys to see and hear and integrated those instruments into his performance.  Our boys had made their own "homemade" yidaki out of cardboard tubes, so during the performance, Andrew had all the boys practice together.  45 minutes later (which seemed like a blink), the performance was over...much to our dismay.  Many of the boys surrounded Andrew after the performance to ask questions and get a closer look at the yidaki.  Andrew brought something so unique and "amazing" (according to one scout) to these boys, he definitely made a lasting impression.

I'm writing to highly recommend Andrew Werderitsch, a talented teacher we had the pleasure of working with here at Seven Arrows.  As creator and teacher of Didjeridu-ings, Andrew presented a creative and unique music experience for 3 -5 year old children in our Roots & Wings Enrichment program.  Through exploration of the Aboriginal instrument, the didjeridu, the children discovered the wonder of rhythms sounds and got to decorate their very own didjeridu to take home.
Our enrichment program was greatly enhanced by Andrew and his class.  Andrew worked very hard to ensure that each child felt the essence of this class - to inspire in young children the passion for creating music and learning about the different types of music in the world.  It was amazing to see how well he connected with the children and engaged them in an extraordinary music experience.

Andrew delivered an intensive three - hour long expression - music workshop to children aged 5 to 12 years.  His highly interactive and energetic performance encouraged self-expression through an array of theatrical games; the use of voice and body as instruments of music; and the awareness of sounds and rhythms contained by different spaces, environments and settings.  Andrew's workshop was exceptionally well prepared and researched, and was executed in a professional but fun and entertaining way.

Mr. Werderitsch's presentation was well organized and engaging.  His ability to personalize the subject matter with interesting stories and anecdotes captured the imagination of our students.  I received positive comments from both students and teachers about the way Andrew made the music and instruments of the Aboriginal people of Australia come alive.

I asked Andrew to do a presentation/workshop in my home for my childs preschool class.  He proved to be a captivating teacher, maintaining the children's interest through colorful storytelling, movement, breathing awareness, and instruction on playing the didjeridu.  The children responded very enthusiastically to all that he presented to them.  Almost every parent whispered to me "Where did you find this guy?...He's wonderful!'

It was an enormously enjoyable experience for all involved.

We found Andrew to be friendly, outgoing and easy to work with.  Our staff very much appreciated his contribution to our enrichment program and we would recommend his services without hesitation.
