Movement With Friends
An interactive experience that engages our balance and senses. Through listening, awareness of ourselves and others with fun exercises, we find our own boundaries and safely extend beyond them.

For most of my life, I have been active in testing and honing my skills of balance, agility, strength, speed and
lack of speed. Much of this body awareness and engagement has been learned through play and work. Now as a man in his 4th decade of life, most of my learning has come through dance and work and to a slightly lesser degree play. But in the end, it can all be felt as 'play'.
I offer a class (private or group) that focuses on balance, listening, playing, and self exploration with movement. The class is inspired by indigenous dance and music, electronic dance music (EDM), Gabriel Roth and the 5 Rhythms Dance, and my own listening which leads to me extending the boundaries of myself while bending my relationship to gravity.
I have shared this experience with all ages. From infant and mother, to our elders. From the wild child to the subdued and reserved within us.
Once the doorway has been seen and slightly moved ajar, the world of 'play' re-emerges.

With a deep respect for Aboriginal Australia and all indigenous cultures on this planet, I feel honored to share these modalities of connection, spirit and healing.
